CBSE Boards (Central Board of Secondary Education) has set a new date for the 10th and 12th board exams. Now this examination will start in the first week of July 2020. This time the remaining examinations will start from the first of July and will continue till the 15th of July as per the date fixed for the board examination by CBSE.
Exam schedule will be released in one to two days. However, only the dates of the examination have been announced. CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the examination schedule will also be released within a day or two.
Only 29 subjects will be tested
The board had to postpone the examinations on 18 March due to the lockdown. After which CBSE had decided that only 29 main subjects examinations will be conducted after the lockdown. Out of 29 subjects, six subjects belong to students of 10th class of North-East Delhi who could not take examinations due to violence. In these six subjects, the examinations of Hindi Core A, Hindi Core B, English Common, English Language and Literature, Science, Social Science are left.
At the same time,
there are to be examinations of 23 subjects of class 12th. It includes Business Studies, Geography, Hindi Elective, Hindi Core, Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science, Information Practice, Information Technology and Biotechnology, English Elective, English Core, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Political Science, History, Physics, Accountancy, Chemistry Subject examinations are yet to be held from July 1.
